World History Studies 163
This introductory survey course provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge of how the past is relevant to our everyday lives through the study of the historical development of world civilizations and the famous people and events that have influenced the course of human history. Special emphasis is placed on developing student’s foundational skills in reading, listening, writing, and analysis that will enable them to be successful in the social studies.
Prerequisite:
- Placement is by recommendation of the Instructional Supervisor for Social Studies.
