Woodworking 161

A cabinetmaking course in which students are introduced to the fundamentals of woodworking machinery, safety, and assembly. Students will become familiar with the safe operation of woodworking power tools including the table saw, band saw, shaper, router, planer, and jointer. Students will learn the value of quality, craftsmanship, accurate measuring, problem-solving, and teamwork in the completion of at least two projects that they will take home.
