This course can be taken only by seniors who have been selected to attend a mandatory week-long summer training workshop during which effective communication and leadership skills are taught. The goal of the Peer Group Program is to help freshmen experience the transition to high school in a positive way. Peer Group Leaders meet with a staff advisor for the first 45 minutes of class to lesson plan and then co-lead a freshman group for the second 45 minutes of the block. .5 credit per semester.
