The course purpose is to give the student a well structured knowledge of metalworking technology and information on available metalworking occupations to formulate practical job entry skills. The scope of the program focuses upon such skilled occupations as tool and die making, tool design, machine maintenance, quality control, production engineering, managerial and personnel positions, numerical control, materials processing and marketing procedures.
