Advanced Foods and Nutrition 261

Foods & Nutrition 261 is a laboratory course designed to help students learn advanced cooking techniques. Students will craft amazing and fun foods using knives and creative chemistry. The units highlighted in this course include advanced quick breads, yeast breads, functional foods, healthy baking, pies, cake decorating and international cuisine. Plate decorating and final food preparation are also stressed throughout this course.
