Consumer Economics Honors 171

Students will utilize various resources to investigate current economic issues, engage in academic conversations and debates, and build financial literacy skills in a project-based course. Additional access to personal finance sources will supplement class discussion and enhance understanding of financial concepts, including an additional focus on investing strategies. The course fulfills the state consumer education requirement. Recommended for senior year, in preparation for the transition to college.
