Beginning Radio Production 161

This course is designed to familiarize students with radio broadcasting and production. Students are given opportunities to analyze the needs of the community to guide the design, development, and evaluation of on-air content. Script writing and radio production are both done in the context of real radio production studios. Students practice evaluating on-air content for content, relevance, and aesthetics. Laboratory time in class is provided, but out-of-class time is required to develop skills in production, writing, and evaluation.
