Architecture 163/173

This advanced and rigorous project based course introduces students to architectural design skills. Students use a multitude of software and model making skills to create original residential designs. The drawings range from artistic renderings to technical drawings for construction. Each student builds an architectural model of his/her design utilizing our laser engraver, 3D printers, and CNC machine. Field trips are used to introduce students to building construction, architectural style, and history. This class may be taken for honors credit.
